Sleeps 4 in two en-suite cabins.
From the aft deck, double doors lead into the main salon/galley which is spacious, light and airy. Off the corridor lies the twin/double cabin and the main toilet/shower room. The double cabin with en-suite toilet/shower has twin doors that open onto the foredeck area which faces east into the morning sun. The wood burning stove makes for a cozy cabin on chilly evenings.
Swallow Tail has a boathouse on shore which offers additional space to relax or store your holiday belongings. Moored on the south side of the lake, Swallow Tail has by far the best habitat for aquatic plants and wildlife.
The surrounding lake and wetland can be enjoyed from her spacious aft deck or the adjoining picnic area onshore. The large aft deck faces southwest and is perfect for outdoor dinning or for enjoying the evening sun across the water. Guests have so often noted how much they enjoy the quiet bustle of wildlife as the day draws to a close.
A retractable canvas awning provides protection from summer showers, early morning mist or ……too much sun!
There is a small jetty near the boat which can be used for basic fishing or collecting aquatic insects. While Swallow Tail may have limited fishing she does enjoy the longest days, being the last boat to see the setting sun in this corner of the Southwest.
